Bigge: Drinking water supply interrupted
Urgent work on the pipeline network on Tuesday, July 2
Bigge. Due to urgent work on the drinking water supply network, the drinking water supply will be interrupted in a section of Bigge on Tuesday, July 2. The interruption will last from 8.00 a.m. until probably around 3.00 p.m.; residents of all streets in the Losenberg area of Eichenweg, Birkenweg, Tannenweg and Buchenweg will be affected.
HSW recommends that its customers stock up on drinking water - for example in the bathtub - if necessary. As turbidity in the drinking water cannot be ruled out immediately after the end of the work, all customers should run cold water in the house connection room for around two to three minutes before starting up household appliances, especially washing machines. It is also advisable to inspect and rinse or replace any existing filters. If electric instantaneous water heaters are used, these appliances must be vented before hot water is drawn off in order to prevent damage.
Hochsauerlandwasser GmbH asks customers for their understanding for this work, which is intended to ensure the service and quality of the drinking water supply in the long term.
