Overview of drinking water and waste water tariffs

The town of Olsberg charges fees for the utilisation of wastewater disposal services in accordance with § 6 of the Municipal Tax Act.

The wastewater charge covers the costs for the disposal of wastewater. It is divided into a

  • basic fee (€ 46.20 per residential unit / year from 01.01.2024) and a
  • discharge fee, which is calculated according to the fresh water scale (€ 2.76 / m³ drinking water - full connection).

The rainwater fee covers the costs of rainwater disposal and amounts to € 0.66 / m² per year. It is charged exclusively on the basis of the built-up (or overbuilt) and/or paved property areas from which rainwater can enter the municipal wastewater system with or without a drainage effect.
