Communicate meter readings: The "final spurt" starts
Self-reading for drinking water, electricity and gas at HSW and HE
Meschede/Olsberg/Bestwig. The "final spurt" has begun: Up to and including Tuesday, 12 December, all customers of HochsauerlandEnergie GmbH (HE) and up to Tuesday, 19 December, the affected customers of Hochsauerlandwasser GmbH (HSW) still have the opportunity to submit their meter readings for this year's annual consumption bills. The two municipal companies would like to remind you of this.
It's easy to take part: customers can submit their meter readings on the websites www.hochsauerlandwasser.de and www.hochsauerlandenergie.de on the Internet, by telephone or by postcard. Particularly convenient: meter readings can be sent directly to the municipal companies via smartphone. There is a QR code on the meter reading cards from HSW and HE for this purpose. When this is scanned, it leads to a field in which the respective customer can enter their meter reading directly. If no meter reading is transmitted, HE and HSW must estimate and bill the consumption volume for 2023 on the basis of the previous year's consumption.
Important: HSW customers whose water consumption is already recorded by digital water meters - which is the vast majority of customers - have not received a meter reading card. This is because with digital drinking water meters, the consumption data is transmitted automatically. Accordingly, the values no longer need to be communicated separately to HSW. Customers who have still received a meter reading card are asked by the local municipal company to only read the meter whose number is stated on the meter reading card - but not the in-house secondary meters for rented flats.
